The hydraulic shock absorber uses the damping of liquid flow to relieve the impact of the car or counterweight, and has good buffering performance. After the hydraulic buffer is hit, the hydraulic oil enters the inner cavity of the plunger barrel from the inner cavity of the pressure cylinder through the annular pore formed by the throttle nozzle and the adjustment rod, and the flow of the hydraulic oil is controlled by the tapered adjustment rod. With the downward movement of the plunger barrel, the annular aperture formed by the throttle nozzle and the adjustment rod gradually decreases, resulting in a substantially constant braking force, and the deceleration process ends when approaching the end of the stroke. In the process of stopping the car or the counterweight, its kinetic energy is converted into the heat energy of the oil, that is, the kinetic energy of the car or the counterweight is consumed.
